Red is our blood,
that flows
through our body
Red is the colour of the apples,
that keeps the
doctor away
Red is the skin,
of the juicy,sweet
strawberry.

Book Review (English Folio)
Title of the Book : Clever Katya
Story retold by: Julia Donaldson
Illustrator: Jane Kochnewitz
Publisher: Ginn
Summary of the story
One day, the Czar of Russia was out in his coach. He saw a farmer eating some bread. He was hungry so he stopped the coach. He asked the farmer for some bread. The farmer bowed and gave him some. The Czar tasted the bread and said that it is the best bread he have ever tasted. He asked the farmer who made those bread. The farmer told him that his daughter, Katya made them. The farmer told the Czar that his daughter is a wonderful girl, pretty, strong,a good worker,a good singer and a good baker. The farmer also told the Czar that she is the cleverest person in Russia. The Czar was confused. He thought he was the cleverest person in Russia. He jumped back into his coach and said to the farmer that he will be back. The next day, he went to the farmer's house. He told the faremer to ask Katya to hatch some eggs into chickens. She thought of an idea. The next day, the Czar came to the farmer's house again. He saw Katya throwing some boiled beans to the ground. The Czar was confused. Katya explained why she did that. The Czar gave Katya a handful of wool to make curtains for the palace. Katya thought of an idea. The next day, the Czar went to the farmer's house. He was beginning to like Katya. He asked for the curtains but Katya gave him a twig. The Czar was confused. Katya explained to the Czar why she gave him the twig. Then, he gave Katya a cup to fill it up with all the water from the sea. Katya thought of an idea. The next day, the Czar went to the farmer's house again. He asked Katya for the cup full of all the water from the sea. Katya didn't fill up the cup. She explained to the Czar that if she filled up the cup with all the water from the sea, all the rivers will flow into the sea and fill it up again. The Czar was amazed of her cleverness. He asked Katya to marry him. She said yes but the Czar has to promise Katya that if he ever get fed up with her and sent her back home, he will let her take one thing that she loves most in the palace. The Czar agreed.
They were married then. They lived happily for one year. One night, the Czar was in a bad mood and quarelled with Katya. He told Katya to go home.Katya then put the Czar to sleep by putting a soft pillow under his head and sang a song. The coach had arrived to bring Katya home. She asked the servants to carry a heavy chest into the coach. When they arrived at Katya's father house, the servants put the chest at the living room. Her father open it and saw the Czar. The Czar woke up and was angry. Katya told him that she loved him and brought him home. The Czar jumped out and hugged her.
The Part I Liked The Most
The part I like the most is when Katya told Czar that she likes him and when Czar hugged her.
What Did I Learned From This Story
I learned that in every promblems that we go though, there is always way to solve it and we have to keep our promises everytime.
